The Bed & Breakfast Residenza Cecchi is a small accommodation facility stemming from an old family abode.It’s all started back in 1927 when my great-grandfather, a Sardinian bricklayer veteran of the Russian campaign, built this residence calling it “Villino Carta”.
Thanks to the recent renovation, we are ready to welcome guests who wish to enjoy peace, quiet and a bit of magic.
Crossing the entrance door you are catapulted into a real Florentine residence. We cured every detail to make the experience of the stay unique and unforgettable.

“Residenza Cecchi” takes its name from the street where is located: Giovanni Maria Cecchi, notary and playwright of the 1500s, very close to his city and devoted to the Medici family.It is also for this reason that for our rooms we wanted to pay homage to the city of Florence and its history, inspiring them to the colour of the 4 historic districts of the city: Red, Green, White and Blue.

Breakfast is the most important meal for our b & b and is served daily from 8:30 to 10:00.We are committed to the utmost to satisfy every need, both for sweet lovers and for those who prefer savory. We offer croissants, cakes, rusks, butter, yogurt, jams and chocolate spread, cereals, bread, ham and cheese, eggs and fresh fruit. In addition to drink we serve espresso, decaf coffee, cappuccino, chocolate, tea, juice and milk.
